  1. 3-3-94                       MTEZ Manual Answer

  3.      Your  fax  program has manual answer of faxes. You set the  number  of
  4. RINGs  in CAS SETUP to 6 or more rings.
  5. C:\MTEZ>setup
  6.       Then  if  you  pick up the phone and hear the 'fax  beep'  you  press
  7. <ctrl><alt>A to answer the fax. Also if you call a fax-back system and pick
  8. the  fax  with  the buttons on the phone, use the manual  answer  when  the
  9. system is ready to send to you.
  10.      If  the  phone rings 6 (or whatever you set) times when  you  are  not
  11. home,  then the fax will answer by itself. This lets you use  fax/voice  on
  12. one phone line with one phone number.
  13.      Also,  you can call a number (with the phone on the same  line),  pick
  14. the  faxes  you want to rec'v and when it is ready to send you  the  faxes,
  15. press <Ctrl><alt>A to rec'v them.

  17.      You must NOT be in MTEZ unless you are in Expressfax menu!
  18.  
  19.      If  you want to manually SEND a fax (ie: call voice then send  a  fax)
  20. put ! instead of the phone number, then send when ready.
